We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Hearth Sales Associate to join our team at The Fireplace People in West Berlin, NJ. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to break into the sales/showroom industry with no prior experience necessary. As the Hearth Sales Associate, you will be the face of our store and will be responsible for creating a positive and memorable experience for all our customers. You will have the opportunity to learn about our high-quality products and help customers find the perfect product for their needs. You will have the chance to work with a supportive and collaborative team and develop your professional skills as you strive to exceed customer expectations. Compensation:

$19 - $23 hourly

 

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet customers as they enter the showroom
  • Provide knowledgeable and helpful advice on products based on customer inquiries
  • Create customer profiles and update them accordingly for future product recommendations
  • Receive payments and process transactions accurately
  • Manage the inventory levels on the showroom floor
  • Develop and maintain solid product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections.
Qualifications:

  • Polite and personable demeanor
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Proven record of building customer relationships
  • U.S. work authorization and valid Driver’s License
  • Previous sales experience (preferred, but not required)
